Personally, this was probably the worst Alpha experience I've ever had, and it's not because of broken characters or glitches like falling through the world or anything. No, it's because the game wouldn't even work to begin with. It started out irritating, and it just got worse. Try to start up the game, and nine times out of ten, it would freeze and crash while contacting servers. This is all on Xbox One, by the way, and I'm not the only one who has had these issues. Now, these freezes also had a chance to reset the Xbox itself, which was particularly annoying.

The few times it made it past that to the opening cutscene, it would occasionally freeze again, but mostly went on to the emblem creator. Here's the main issue. As soon as I would hit confirm, it would give me a network error and boot me to the main menu. Then, if I tried to play anything, it would say "only the group leader can go into matchmaking" when I am the only one there. Now, I tried the troubleshooting they offered, except for ports, since I live in a university dorm and can't mess with those, and of course, nothing worked. Nice to know that, just because they didn't manage to get their game to even connect to various connections properly, that myself and likely many others were screwed out of being able to play a game that we'd been looking forward to.

If they try for a beta, I'll give it a shot, but if this happens again then I won't even bother risking my money on the full game.
