    Conqueror Footage and playstyle.

Just finished cutting some of my warm ups against the AI as I was learning the guardbreak system and testing the Conqueror's active blocking. The feat combination of heal on block, defensive stance to block all attacks and defense boost at the cost of movement speed all combined to make an absolute tank. What really struck me was the variety of ways to win. Everything from long, drawn out duels to quick positional redirects to take advantage of the environment, the game really takes into consideration multiple aspects of combat. Great experience.

As mentioned on other threads, I didn't encounter anyone terribly OP or underwhelming, but when facing other characters as the tank, I had the most trouble with characters who used speed and range to disrupt me and constantly keep me adjusting my guard. Kensai's especially used their pokes to get consistent damage in and frustrate me. Patience and a steady output was the key to beating the Conqueror.

Well tbh, the only reason why you are doing well on that video is because most of your opponent don't know how to counter guard break properly, and this is mostly happens on dominion mode. On actual combat, you also lacking when it come to mixing attack (no guardbreak follow up, most combo stop at 2 hit, not creating a barrier of infinite attack to prevent your opponent from getting close).

Against decent player, i doubt you last even for a minute when you keep playing like that.

Here a match with the Conqueror in Dominion, where I use a big variety of techinques, including the defensive mode:

yeap definetly much better, you got some nice mixup over there. Just be careful when trying to push people on ledge though. Also at 2:17 when you accidentally hit the friendly warden, he was like "chill bro i got this".
