It is not very fun fighting 4 organized players with 4 un-organized players. 2v2 has a similar issue though not as exaggerated. I think providing a Q for solo players only would be nice.
Splitting matchmaking into too many categories is a bad idea if you ask me.
Besides this is a "silly" issue, stick to duels or find 3 buddies to play with.
How about those moments you think you have a full team and it turns out the other 3 have been replaced with Ai bots?
Some times there were even better teammates haha
