I think it would be cool if there was a character that could challenge an opponent, doing something to force them into a fight. My idea is that the character has a grab attack where they attach a chain to an opponent, preventing them from running too far away from either where the chain was attached, or from the character that attached the chain. It makes more sense to have it attach to the aggressor, but it seems like it would be much easier to implement if it rooted them to the ground. They could slam a spike into the opponent, and then strike a stake into the ground. The opponent would be able to free themselves if they hit the chain (probably around the stake so it is easy to target) a few times they are freed, that way they can free themselves if they kill the opponent, or if they make the opponent run away.
