So let me have an introduction first. When I fist heard of the minions like in MOBA games in different styled games, that was for Titanfall, I was instantly hooked and definitely not disappointed from the result. The battle felt alive the heroes felt cool for killing all those grunts

Now the problem with For Honor's dominion is that the minions don't really feel alive. Don't get me wrong their animations are cool and their reactions seem realistic, I especially like the times where you have murdered half of them and the rest start running. But they just spawn and rush to the front. For them to feel alive they need much more than that.

For starters they need to populate more areas of the map. Not in big numbers but like in cinematics maybe a couple of them fighting in the top of the tower, one throwing the other down the other rushing from somewhere else and so on. Having some more minions spawn and getting them to different position other than the front would solve that problem. Couple that with allowing them to use the environment and you have some real action sequences there.

Another good addition would be sometimes some brave minions attacking players, not many maybe 3 and not really to do damage(even though if the players ignore them they should) rather to make the player more engaged.

If this is done correctly it could also help making the traversing through the battlefield more fun. Right now it just feels you have a very spacious map for 8 players and if you ignore the front or just skip it, meaning not really try to capture just moving from A to C, you don't really feel any impact. It is more like a capping game with the occasional fights which are either 1v1 which you can find in duel mode or 2v1, 3v1 were the over numbered will most likely lose.

You can think as another way to add interest in the game. Thanks for reading and I am interested in more opinions on the matter
