Everyone has an opinion and here is mine!
First off - the game is very balanced, the controls are so very nice, the fighting is challenging and rewarding, every class has such a unique and distinct identity - so bravo for all of that. Well done Ubisoft, I give it a 9.5/10 for an alpha.
Things I would change, recommend or add:
Dominion: Increase the point-cap by about 40-50%. 6-7 minute matches aren't enough. I'd like to see 10-12. Lets make a game of it, shall we? I'd like to see some awesome comebacks. Also, currently too much time is spent in the loading screen and not enough in the killing-field.
The never-ending-waves mode: Essentially a never-ending wave of enemies, PVE.
5v5 dominion: Arathi Basin in World of Warcraft had a 5-area map and it was pretty awesome. Granted someone was on "Mine-duty" which could suck, but think of 2 "front line" areas on both sides of a map with 3 regular capture points. All-out-war.
Archer class: Probably already in the works or has at least been thrown around. Would have low hp/defense with traps and a bow/arrow plus a melee knife.
New factions: Native Americans, Turks, Mongolians
I totally agree with Dominion, longer match would be a lot more fun! As for the comebacks, it would be very hard to do in the current system. It's so easy to capture a zone and fall back below 1000 that there are 3-4 comebacks per game. The only "real" comeback I've seen was where a team was at 1400 (couldn't get back under 1000) and captured a few zones, got the ennemy above 1000 and the 3 remaining guys killed their 4. So, comebacks aren't really a thing, they should change how the scoring system to make it work.
I don't really get what you mean. Minions are so dumb and easy to kill there wouldn't be any skill required, people would simply go down under sheer numbers. And bots are basically 1v1 or 2v2, although the never-ending-waves part would make it more like a tourney or an arena.
Good idea, I'm not sure what it could bring to the game but I don't seen any reason why it shouldn't be good.
Many people have expressed their disagreement with archers before. For Honor is really focused on melee, honor and glory in battle. There ain't no honor nor glory in standing back 30 meters and shooting down the ennemy heroes. Many people would probably quit if they added archers. In my opinion, feats are good enough.
The game and lore has been based around the 3 existing legacies since the beginning, adding more would be pointless and messy. Native Americans are basically Vikings, Turks are kind of like the Samurai and Mongolians are cavalry (not a game feature) -archers (which everyone hates). The 3 legacies and 6 heroes are simple enough, and they still bring variety.
