sure, he has his shoulder charge, but that's EASILY avoidable. give him a heavy>light>heavy and that gives him another opportunity to throw his shoulder charge in mid-combo.

like i said, one more combo would only improve his mixups, without actually giving him anything substantial otherwise.

EDIT: the above was in reply to Rhodir.
I don't know man, I've used pretty much only Warden and I've never felt like I needed anything more. The tools the game gave me were enough to handle everything the other players could throw at me (well, almost everything, I still think Deflect is nasty, but that's about other characters, not Warden).

Here, I'll leave this little match I managed to record, give it a look, it might give you some insight (I'm by no means a pro, but I feel like, after getting Warden to lv 56, I'm at least alright).

Funny, I can only compete with Orochis as Warden. As my other main, Berserker, I can't deal with them.

I don't feel particularly like I adapt to fighting different opponents with the warden, I do the same thing for all of them. Light side combo, shoulder bash, light side combo, shoulder bash, kick, heavy top. Throw in a top counter every now and again and that's basically it.
Quite the opposite, I've found the Warden very adaptable. I used light sides against heavy classes, heavy overheard against lighter classes, and his combos are simply yet effective so you can use them against any opponents. I've played the Warden with many styles quite effectively, there is nothing wrong with the Adaptable.

I'd like to see tome attackes from low to high.
Slash up - whatever( - whatever).
(ok, from left or right, I understand a whole new direction can not be added)

The Warden is meant to be an easy character to play for newbies. His move list might be lacking but I'm sure that's the point. He's still a great character.

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not doubting your experience, just giving my opinion on the matter! Some people were able to backstep the charge, true, in those cases I usually charged it to catch them anyway, or use another move altoghether, mixups you know.

But anyway, I guess it's still too early to discuss such matters with depth, the majority of the Alpha Players didn't even know how to parry.

I don't know if we all played PC here, but I did, and my controller wouldn't work. So I was stuck with my keyboard, and even after 3 days trying new keys and looking through the forums, I couldn't find the button to parry. There might not even be one for keyboards, so "the majority of Alpha players" probably didn't know how to parry because it was impossible for them.

I don't think there's a dedicated button for that, it's just HeavyAttack + Direction of enemy attack, and with the right timing.

yep, parrying is heavy attack into the enemy direction.

However for me it was just the fact that parrying was never explained to me. Maybe I didn't read the manual/tips carefully enough, but I found out about parrying through a youtube-video...

so yeah, the "basics" of the game could have been explained a little better to the general playerbase^^

Me too, I watched the advanced and basic tutorials for all classes and I did the in-game tutorial thrice and I didn't find it. Thanks for the advice though
