a youtuber by the name of " Skallagrim " (and for those that don't know he does youtube videos of medieval era type weaponry armor some history, and practicality of weaponry videos ETC..) had discovered this a while back in manuscript KK5013, which is part of the Gladiatoria, a German series of manuscripts from the 15th century. that described "If you want to end your opponent RIGHTLY, unscrew the pommel of your sword and throw it at him vigorously, close in with the throw and use your sword (or spear, there were set weapons that you used when fighting in the Gladiatoria)
