In truth, that option basically just scales down the male hero and calls it a woman and I can't help but feel that is extremely sexist from Ubisoft. This is just to shows that women are weak and need to be men to be considered strong as if men is the superior and human perfection which I don't doubt is what Ubisoft would think after their comment on females in AC Unity. Anyhow, I am with you on customization, I too would love to fully edit every aspect of my character and furthermore, contrary to Ubisoft, I do not think the women form is a symbol of weakness as their is some much only the uniqueness of femininity can allow to achieve physically. Thus, I too hope they would have made real women a part of this game and truly embrace the advantages given by being a women and use it to it's full extent.

    Thank you

Sexist.. How? They have the same stats, being male or female do not mather other then minor vizual differences. If it was sexist one of the sexes would be superior to the other in some way, and they are not. Your post is full of stupid.

Except that's not true. There were women knights, women viking warriors, and women samurai. Were they as common as men? Obviously not. But they certainly weren't unheard of.

No, not at all. The way vikings look in this game is not how anyone looked in the past. Do you know how much it costs to maintain that kind of bodybuilder physique? That's not something you get from working the fields, chopping wood, and swinging swords around. The Conan build takes serious effort to keep up. You need constant protein and training. Norsemen, and norse women, didn't have time for that kind of stuff. They had work to do.

Just do a google image search for "farmer woman" and tell me that looks anything like the female vikings in the game. Because that's what norsemen were 99% of the time. Farmers, fishermen, and hunters.

Yeah, which is why I wish they would just change the name to something gender-neutral and just make every class have the option of either male or female. Obviously, creating a whole other gender option for a specific class is probably a lot of work, but I hope it's not completely off the table, even if it's as post-release DLC.

I don't really see any benefit to locking classes to a specific gender, other than saving budget and time. I guess you can come up with some stupid story reason of why there are no male Peacekeepers or female Lawbringers, etc, but I think most people would be happier if we had full options for every class.
