First of all let me say this: I am impressed. Congratulations on a great game.

Now for the feedback and suggestions:

- UI/HUD

Problem:
While the menus are nice and sleek the HUD while playing is way too cluttered (A problem with many Ubisoft games actually including AC). Your game is pretty enough and intuitive enough that it can stand out on its on without the visual overload of all those healthbars, stamina bars, teammate icons, base icons, floating numbers, etc. I realise that some people may feel lost without them so here are my two propositions.

Suggestion:
Modularity for HUD components, let the player choose what they see. If the player is fine with battling without the health and stamina bar or even the guarding indicator please let them. Also for that end more integration of battlefield feedback into the gameworld itself would be amazing, i.e. if the front is being lost have your minion soldiers bow the horns or scream for aid. That way ideally one could possibly play even without any HUD at all.

- Game Modes

Probem:
I left some feedback on the Duels in the appropriate section so here I will focus on the breadth of choices. The three modes available in the Alpha were all great in their own right. However that being said the game begs for bigger battlefields with more players involved and just more options in general.

Suggestion:
Its all over the forum but dedicated servers would be amazing in this game and I imagine would go a long way toward allowing bigger and more elaborate multiplayer modes.
Modularity and player option are always great, A Dominion mode with a single life or example if players wants to play that way should be made available, also modes that lock the character choice in a battle between the factions, i.e. Viking versus Knights, would be great and help keep and build the lore of the world among the fan base.

A couple of mode suggestions, some feasible some less so I imagine:

A fortress defense survival mode, in the vein of the COD zombies, 4 player heroes against a horde trying to keep the castle wave after wave of minions and bots.

A conquest mode similar to the Battlefield/Battlefront mode where the invading army pushes forward in the battlefield. The movement in the map gives a greater sense of the desperation of attempting to conquer/defend territory and would fit in well with the lore. though extremely fun the current dominion mode lacks this as the gameplay for defenders and attackers are basically identical.

Also since clubs and things like that seem to be a big thing with you guys at Ubisoft I would suggest the creation of Warbands, similar to a guild system in MMOs. This would differ from Factions as it would allow player and characters from different groups to band together in a sort of mercenary group and compete together against other warbands. This could even lead to warbands having their own fortress that they reinforce with upgrades earned from the group and defend against other warband invasions. A smaller take on factions that allows player to band together more freely. Maybe it could be character locked as well rather than Faction locked like other modes you guys probably have cooked up, my Orochi for example would belong to Warband A and my Berserker to Warband B, etc. A bit crazy I suppose but you guys got my imagination running wild which is the greatest compliment I can give you.

- Customisation

Problems:
None really. Though I can see some player feeling alienated by the fact that equipment gives boosts.

Suggestions:
Don't remove equipment stats, nerf them perhaps. Removing them would take away a sense of progression that is so vital to hardcore gamers and other audiences, myself included, and would make the game too much like a regular MOBA.

Also you can never go wrong with even more customisation options. More weapons, more armour, more symbols, engravings, tattoos and more colours. Also Wolves please, gotta have some wolf symbols and emblems. Also more black. Please.

That is all I have for you, the combat is magnificent. The classes felt balanced to me, though I would change the hard tag on the Orochi for either Easy or Medium as he is very intuitive compared to others, even the raider. All in all this game is amazing, congratulations and thank you very much for making it and allowing me to participate in your closed Alpha. I look forward to playing it again in the Beta.

Final suggestion:

A cosmetic reward for all of us who have participated would definitely earn you guys brownie points. Just saying.
