Feedback v2 - Equipment, Servers, and game modes
Another round of feedback of stuff that came to me.
so I was playing the 1v1 game modes because it's honestly the most fun game mode for me, and I am absolutely loving it. One thing in the future of this game that I'd love to see is like an endless lobby mode for this. IE: get a group of friends, all chill in a 1v1 king of the hill style lobby, and 2 people go at it while everyone else watches and the winner plays the next person in line. I absolutely love this type of mode in Street Fighter and think it would be great to just have a good time with a bunch of friends with this.
This one is just going to be short because it's been said a million times now, but the game could definitely be improved with dedicated servers. Noone likes being at a disadvantage because you weren't the host for the game, and noone likes constant host migration or hiccups because the host's connection was a little screwy. Again, I think this would definitely be better for the game in the long run.
Equipment is an interesting topic for me, I like being able to customize your characters and whatnot but the thing that worries me is two things. One, new players getting destroyed because they don't have as much gear or stats as a veteran player, who should already be better than the new player anyways which creates a snowball affect. And two, equipment would make it harder to play new classes or play multiple classes at the same time because of the amount of steel you would need. Currently I love playing as the Conqueror and the Raider, but it's inefficient to play both because other people could just spend all their steel on one class instead of two like I am meaning if I have to put twice the effort in playing two classes which I think is bad considering how many classes the game has. The game is so fun and the classes have great variety in differing play styles that I don't think should be limited by having to grind steel for multiple classes. Maybe the equipment should just be a customization for cosmetics rather than actual stats? Maybe it doesn't matter as much in the long run when you have more than 3 days to play it though.
Again, thanks for letting me test the game and provide feedback! I can not wait for when this game releases and/or future alpha/beta tests!
