I don´t know. Sure a good Orochi is hell to fight, but that is the same with every class.
I´m fairing quite well against Orochi with my Warden, just stay on the defensive end and do some heavy attack breakups to get them. I destroyed 6-7 out of 10 Orochis I encountered in 1 vs 1 fights or in 2 vs 1 fights (with the one being me).

If we're talking about overpowered characters, perhaps the most OP character is the first Viking, the one with the two-handed axe. He can just pick you up and throw you around whenever he wants, and it both hurts you and makes you blind. He has this unblockable attack that comes out so fast that you don't have enough time to react and dive away. Also, it seems like he can use his guard break through your attacks, while if you try to use guard break during his attacks, you'll just get hit. Overall, he has too many cheap moves, and his most powerful moves aren't visible enough to reliably avoid even as a skilled player. Definitely needs to be toned down a notch, especially seeing that approximately 90% of the player base (in my personal experience) was using him.

I really like to hear some credit for my favorit class, since I cant talk about it too much and really love the raider (the first viking is the raider ).
    Regarding your points:

    - his charge at best grants two light attacks in, but requires a guard break which are extremely hard to get through if at all against top score players
(if used to ledge you off the map its really strong, thats true. As the raider got straight range here, the berserker [the second raider] got plenty chances. The entire viking faction so far seems to have a big focus on moving your opponents in your favours )

    - his charge DOES NOT blind you. If you get blinded, its because he is doing his stunning tap after he charged you. The charge itself doesnt blind
/edit: even though the charge itself doesnt blind, you are correct, he'll blind you additionaly if he manages to charge you into a wall.

    - the blind (stunning tap) deals great damage and the blind heavily influences most players awareness against guardbreaks, but at the same moment its a great weakness for the raider himself: the stunning tap can ONLY be executed from the top at any time and requires either a dodge or any heavy attack to faint out of. Thats why its theoretically very predictable if you know the raider and costs too much time to be executed against fast classes like the oroshi as you usually take a light attack before you hit 'em.

    - the unblockable attack can be easily parried just as the kenseis. Both are predictable in the same way, which an advantage for the raider which can execute the unblockable strike without any prerequisits or line it up in a combo, while the kensei can only execute it out of a combo.

    - guard break works the same as for anyone, you cant guardbreak through attacks. What you are talking about is ping differences or the very beginning of long (f.e. heavy or unblockable) attacks which can be guardbreaked at the very first moment of execution. Light attacks cant be countered by guardbreaks from anyone.

As said, I like the credits for the raider but cant share your opinion about his visibility or strength.

If you're looking for a fair fight, you won't find it vs a samurai class. This game would be better without them.

Kensei is the worst class in the game easily and although Oroshi's counters can be deadly, he dies so fast compared to other classes you aren't allowed mistakes.

I would encourage you to Duel against a better player until you've covered your basics.

Might be wrong as I tried to increase my gear as late as possible to play handicapped, but I hold the impression that berserkers die faster then orochis? Dont want to say Orochis are tanks, surely not, but out of curiousity, which of these two is more likely to die from a small number of hits?

I can't say which one has more health as I forgot to take notice but I was playing berserk and I had a hell of a time against Orochis. Mainly because while we'd be playing the guardbreak/deflect game, Orochis counters gets two free hits. Berserkers might get one light hit in, but definitely not more due to the short stun rate of the deflecting guardbreak. While I believe the deflecting guardbreak of the berserkers if were to be extended would make berserker way too broken, Orochi's dash attack and guard breaks freezes us for way too long, and by the time we can block, Orochi already has taken half of our health. I would say atleast lessen the (stun? not really, just where you characters stumble and you can't block) of the dash rush attack.

I'd agree Berserkers die faster but their combos are absolutely wicked. D:

    guardbreak/deflect game,
Watching this from the side is SO DAMN ENTERTAINING! D

Yeah, think so too. If I miss an attack because the oroshi dodges back, he gets a free charge attack + two light attacks in to me before the system lets me dodge or do anything at all.

Sure they are, no joke. When focusing on Blocking damage they turn out REALLY deadly as you have to keep your guard up for their entire combo which ends either when they top attack or run out of stamina. Mad boys.

every character is different i used warden and only came across a couple samurai that were unstoppable against my style. they are good at countering and dash (very fast) but there blocks are terrible that is why they stay on the outside or come close and grab. but all there attacks are blockable you just need to be quick on the pad.

This game would be better without people who cannot be bothered to actually improve their fighting ability and would rather spend that time and energy on useless rage quit threads. If you're looking for an intelligent thread that offers constructive criticism, you won't find that here.
