I know it says 2v2 so it should be 2 vs 2 but that is seldom what is happening right now. I've seen a lot of people just sprint from the start and rush to get the quick kill on a 2v1 before the other partner can get there and interfere. Mainly I've seen this happen with the Oriochi class. 2 of these can bring down any class in a matter of seconds. I for one and feel free to voice your opinion if you disagree, but I think there should be some sort of a opaque barrier splitting the map so that you have to stand and fight. Once a death has happened on which ever side the barrier will drop allowing for the member to then rush to his teammates side.
I"m thinking more long term of a game instead of short term. Right now you are already getting a lot of 2v1 Zerg madness. I think the true moment of anticipation and excitement comes when a member from each team is down and then the remaining 2 face off to see which team is going to get the win. I have had this happen several times on a round 5 and I will say that I was highly invested in the moment.
These are the types of moments that gamers remember and will want to continue to come back to.
