So this might just be me, but throughout the Alpha, i feel like i've found the bots to sometimes be more difficult than actual players, at least for some Heroes. And honestly, i can't complain. If you're going to include AI Bots in a multiplayer game, you should make them relatively competent opponents, and I think they've nailed that thus far in For Honor.
In a typical multiplayer game that has bots, they're usually included to practice against to improve your skills. However, most games' AI is somewhat basic, and really isn't that great of practice. But with this game, i feel like dueling a bot can actually help you improve with the basic combat.
This is all just my opinion though, and i'd love to know you all think.
I also agree. Having good bots in player vs ai is essential for any competitive game like For Honor. It gives you a sense of what your going to experience when you enter PvP. For example: I was playing Dominion player vs ai and I was capturing a zone by myself. One of the bots showed up and we were dueling. All of a sudden after a few seconds the other bots showed up and killed me.
Most games that have ai are predictable but this one feels different, which is a good thing.
