Final brief thought on classes for the Alpha, need to nerf the Orochi and Warden

This is for the devs. Not a discussion. If you think the Orochi and Warden are good to go, then that's your problem. Because every class needs a LOT of work. But the Orochi and the Warden specifically need to get reworked a bit.

After extensively playing tons of time in the Alpha your two classes that need to be nerfed will be the Warden and the Orochi. Your heavy classes, aside from maybe a bit more health needed on them, are fine.

Your Orochi and Warden though, they attack to quickly for not flagging their stances enough. They get free strikes against other heroes simply for dodging and breaking. They have consistently more useable combos than ANY other class, and its game breaking. We took stats while playing for two days straight. We saw the Orochi and Warden picked 76 percent more often in matches than other classes. Its a complete tell that the hero classes are broken. Players will always create positive trends toward the heroes that are guaranteed wins.

That's all I will post on your hero classes for this Alpha because it really wont matter if I was to give any more specific details anyway, you have your own stats you take while we play for that.

Firstly i love how you tell people this isn't a discussion, like your opinion is the only one that counts. Impressive arrogance.

By the by... I don't think anyone can truly say anything absolutely needs a nerf after two days of playing. I would imagine there's a small percentage of the playerbase so far that actually took the time to really study the strengths and weaknesses of each warrior type.

Stats can be biased in many ways, and i would say that players who are proficient would gravitate towards the harder to play warriors, and would have picked berserker and oroshi. So many players would then die to these skilled players and believe that they are OP and then start to choose them themselves and voila, the snowball has started.

I've encountered many players of 'all' class types who were easily dispatched, and i've encountered a fair few of 'each' class who were a real challenge to fight. That is the beauty of this game, the skill is in the users hand, the knowledge is down to the user. It all depends on how much you know about your own moveset and how much you know about your enemies. If you know what your enemies moveset is, you look out for the staple moves and already know how to counter them when they appear.

I wrote in another thread many ways the Oroshi can be beaten.

So again i would say, people are not familiar enough with all classes yet to truly say that a nerf is required. I've certainly encountered many players who are not just button bashers, who know their abilities and threw very fast techniques at me. I've also managed to defend and counter a great many of them (though not all). So after 'my' two days of playing, i would personally say it is pretty balanced.

The only unbalanced thing at the moment is the matchmaking for obvious reasons. When we start seeing performance based matchmaking, then you'll see your stats would change dramaticaly, because players would be matched with similar skilled players and then you may start to discover any imbalances over time. 2 days though.. sorry but that's pretty laughable.
