Does anyone know of any good tips on how to beat Sledridge Gorge using the Donkey?
It's the end part that I've been stuck on multiple times now and I've never seen anyone in The Bunker actually complete it. (O_o)
This is quite odd, we've had a few people talking about this recently in the Extreme tracks with the Donkey thread in the Community section, this is my quote here that I put in recently, specifically about this problem:
The thing is I don't know when the best time to lean forward is on that last obstacle, but even so, the success rate is still very slim. Obviously as I said, get as much speed as possible, reverse back as much as possible if you are restarting from the checkpoint before the slope, and try to lean forward maybe slightly after you hit the slope, and after hitting the slope (I actually just thought of this just now, I wished I said this in the other thread) forward-flip as well since you could gain that little bit more horizontal distance, it could make a slight difference, and keep trying, and good luck. This is luck-based, since it's an obstacle which works with the Mantis, but not the Donkey due to the smaller size and wheels, which makes it more problematic, and has made the chances of completing it with the Donkey more improbable.Originally Posted by HeaverBeaver115 Go to original post
It's in the Bunker as well? Should actually take that out because Sledridge Gorge with the Donkey is an absolute pain to do, and no-one should have to suffer for several minutes because of that last obstacle, because there would barely be anybody who would complete that. Should only use the Mantis for that track in the Bunker for future reference.
Hope that helps.![]()
