    Alpha Feedback and future "Would Likes"

    First and foremost I would like to say that this game is great and I am eagerly looking forward to the release. My friends and I had a great time playing all weekend. The general mechanics of the game were great and the limited game offering of the Alpha leaves us with great anticipation to see the finished version.

    Since I have submitted numerous bug reports throughout the Alpha testing I will leave out comments on all of that. This post will be limited to what my friends and I thought we would like to see in the finished product.

    1. More game types - We would like to see a larger offering of game types including Team Death Match, King of the Hill and All vs All. We would also like to see a larger PvP 30+ per team battlefield map.

    2. Private matches - We would like to see the ability to hold private matches with private groups only, or at least a way to challenge specific players or join specific games. The ability to build custom matches with desired maps, win scenarios and such.

    3. Destructible Environment - We would like to see a more destructible environment where the hit of a weapon or throwing someone into a wall or through a railing destroys it.

    4. Ranged Class - We would like to see a ranged class offering such a an archer. This would have to be carefully balanced and be more of a support class than a battle class. Something like arrow hits cause de-buffs or if they get a "critical hit" in the throat for example it can do significant damage.

    5. Siege Weapons - We would like to see a map/game type that involves the use of siege weapons as part of the map interaction or maybe the challenge of the game type.

    6. More Maps - This can not be stressed enough, nothing wears out a game faster than doing the same maps over an over. We would like to see a large variance in available maps and even perhaps an auto-gen battlefield that offers constant variance in map layout.

    7. Character Stats - We would like to see public available character stats on people both while in the loading screen as well as in-game.

    8. Guild/Clans - A guild or clan option is always good for building additional buy in for any game.

    This is what we have come up with so far, but will add anything else as we discuss further. Again, thank you very much for the opportunity to participate in the Closed Alpha.

    Talking about menus :
    - instead of the very cheap "VS" list of Players/Bots, we should see the full 3D characters, such as you can see in so many other games (On the Ubi side, let's use RS Siege as example).
    - All surrounding war atmosphere is pretty ... calm. Use a "Killer Instinct" voice to announce events.
    - We also should see our character in the aftermatch screen as when we equip a new item... we have no idea what it looks like expect if we quit to the Customization menu.
    - Character are too static in all menus.

    Talking about the game :
    - I'm not a PvP gamer so I will not spend that much hours on the same fights over and over and over only to have a nice warrior. I hope there will be much more modes than the 3 we saw (Survive, Hunger Game, ...)
    - Same as above : more maps, definitely.
    - Ladies are not sexy enough. I don't ask for babes in swimsuits... well ... just check who are the WH40K Sisters of Battle and compare them to the Space Marines. Same here... sexy and deadly, in shiny armors.

    Enjoyed the Alpha anyway.
