Please, Please, PLEASE! Make a "Neroimus Wars" for this game...
So, i've been playing this game for a couple of days. It's totally awesome and the player vs player experience is excellent, very unique and intense but something is missing. After 30m or so of consecutive play i feel no need to keep going. This might be just me but isn't this game supposed to be a huge clan war about the fight for resources?
None of that is included in the mechanics of the game. The whole outside the 1v1 duel mechanics are made almost identical to any online fps out there, totally self centered and let me say it... it's very boring.
Here's what i will do... Add a clan functionality for players, with hub, customization and perks (do battles with your clan banner, make money and loot, spend those to upgrade the clan, craft weapons, add cool things in the hub etc). Make them join teams and go to battle directly inside the clan hub so it becomes a social experience instead of a dry join queue and stare at the screen, give them the ability to friendly duel each others so they can learn about the game and experienced clan members can teach the rookies how to play while waiting for the next battle to begin etc.
After this, make a giant conquer war, like the awesome "Neroimus War" from the late Chromehounds game. It was a conquer the map gameplay where a Clan was able to choose a 1 out of 3 faction and play under that banner for the duration of the war (that was about 1 or 2 weeks if i can remember correctly, it doesn't matter though). The whole mod was about conquering various territories inside map by playing duels or battles and achieving various goals and then bring down the other factions capital cities. Playing and achieving the goals gave you credits and perks even if your faction loosed the battle in the end.
I think ti will be absurdly perfect for this game, it will give a real reason to fight within the game (instead just because the trailer said so and it's fun to play for half an hour), it will give the teams a goal to reach, it will give the clans a reason to exist and it will become a social hub for players, all things that you strongly want for this game and i think everybody could agree with that!
Please, please please make it happen!
