Well, i've had a blast playing the alpha, i even got to rank 1 and got to lvl up my equipment to the max, and i would hate to loss that progress.

I believe our progress will be lost mainly because balancing issues at launch (weapon and armor stats). It could deter new players if they get killed in two hits from someone who was in the alpha.

i had expected our progress to be reset all along so i wasn't too worried about cramming in everything. however i did suggest creating special sets of armors for Alpha Testers & Beta Testers to go along with the Dev Armor in the Elite Armor tab so we'd know the players who had the honor of participating in this game

I'm pretty sure they'll probably do this. At minimum I'm guessing it would be a symbol or something we can put on the gear.

They did a similar thing with Rainbow Six, where alpha/beta players received some weapon skins.
