Have to agree. Basically the only really not fun things are getting killed or losing games due to connectivity. I dont want to lose any progress fights etc due to connections thats just no viable this day and age.
I love the game too much to claim i will not buy... but i know some of my mates do have this sentiment.

Of all things this requires the most attention upfront. Heck for all we know Orochi were host all the time (j/k)

I agree with all of the above. P2P has to go, it's the only thing that's keeping me from buying For Honor and recommending the game to others.

Me and a friend played 5 of 6 games in a row where the connection dropped and we recieved no awards or xp. If everybody had a good connection there was no problem although it looked like I couldn't block Orichi's attacks. But maybe that's me being slow.

    PVP play

I agree to the many other posters regarding the host issues and game lag. This is an excellent game and something that I have been looking forward to for a long time, but It seems that it will end up being another Call of Duty in regards to players/hosts leaving because they are losing the match. It would be great if there were some sort of repercussions implemented into the game to hopefully help to prevent this issue. It gets quite annoying when you are playing and half your team leaves because they are getting beat and the bots do not really assist you when you are being double teamed.

Great game though! Characters were fun to play with and learn new skills.

I think Peer 2 Peer will be the death of this game if something isn't done. Like 50% of my dominion matches had at least 1 dropped player or in extreme cases i ended up playing with 7 BOTS.

I saw that the matchmaking system didn't have restrictions regarding region zones in that, in a same match you could have people playing from at least 4 continents at the same time, no wonder the latency and disconect rate was high.

Wathever the case if they go with P2P or dedicated servers at least to split the player base into regions or this game won't live long. At least take a look at what Riot Games has done with LoL or Wargameing has done with WoT;WoWp;WoWs (they have like 150 million players worldwide, all 3 games). And i know dedicated servers are expensive and a little risky investment-wise considering this is new type of game, but i do hope they will make the RIGHT decision.

I will probably buy the game on PC but theres no chance of me doing that if it just remains peer to peer.

that is the ridiculous lag hacks you can do with P2P that im talking about.

P2P killed the alpha for alot of ppl, and will kill the entire game community if it launches this way.

I'd also like to sound off about P2P. I have 150mbps internet and still suffered from P2P. I ended up playing a lot of pick up games where I replaced a bot and the connection issues were terrible.

P2P may work in 1v1, but no more than that. I wouldn't recommend it at all because some of the faster classes play totally different in a laggy room.
