    wtf really?

Please invest in dedicated servers, Ubisoft! I'll love you forever.

Didn't get to play nearly as much as I would have liked because I got fed up with the constant connection issues. Several games where I got down to the last couple of minutes before getting booted and losing all the XP. The thought of continuing to play just didn't seem appealing after that. If the game is like this at launch, it will die quickly.

I am with the crowd on this one, it was quite trying to be host migrating or disconnected. I am afraid it would be no fun once people really abused lag and such.

I get why they're doing P2P. It costs less for them, and there's no issue with having to pay for server upkeep 10 years down the line after the game has stopped being profitable. But then maybe patch in P2P when you kill the servers. Or allow people to host their own servers for the game, with a server browser. Just like Counter-Strike, and many other online games.

But as it stands now, how long the game stays relevant, and profitable, is entirely dependent on whether or not we get dedicated servers on launch. If it stays P2P it'll die quicker than Ubisoft can shout "microtransactions".
