Reveiw of Keyboard/mouse control as Orochi.

I have been extensively playing Orochi logging ~20 hrs of Orochi playtime with keyboard and mouse.

From my play of said Character, Orochi requires fast and accurate feedback to guard and hit, but with using a mouse, it is significantly harder to direct your attack and deflect

    as you intend to.

Major setback as using Keyboard/mouse is that there is not receive enough physical feedback of where your blades are guarding/attacking.

Good example would be like pressing keyboard w,s,a,d, and you know your character received following commend because you physically felt that key being pressed. While

touch screen control requires visual feedback to somewhat compensate said feedback. You cannot really watch your own character and the direction when you are facing

skilled player; you need to watch where your enemy's sword positions are at all time, not yours.

At this point it make much reliable for K/M users not think about direction of sword attack, but gimmicks and combos to do the work.

That being said, overall concept of mouse and keyboard was much better than from notorious dark soul control. I have also finished playing Dark soul 2&3 with keyboard and

mouse only and there were almost no frustration coming from using keyboard and mouse while playing.

If player wants casual experience playing this game, I think current set up might work, but if player wants to experience advanced play, they are going to have very hard time

due to its key mapping. This also might also be the source of this forum saying Orochi is too strong. At the moment, I have seen only 2-3 people actually pulling 'Strong attack

cancel' to faint attack, which certainly open so many options for non Orochi characters to deal against Orochi. However, I am very certain that

majority of testers have no idea what this button is in keyboard/mouse. In controller, this is B botton on Xbox controller, however, in K/M control, it is none other than 'mouse

wheel scroll' in default setting. Which means that you need to be amazingly accurate and precise to scroll then not actually pressing it. If this mechanic more possible to achieve

in K/M than is right now, I am sure it will add more diversity in terms of combat.

Exactly my thoughts..having played only orochi although the gameplay feels smooth blocking does not feel natural with directing the mouse.I have died many times and lost duels because i did not pull the mouse right/left or even up enough to block the attack even though i knew were it was coming from.
It just feels a bit off.I can't be the only one.

Overall i expected less and i got more from an alpha. If you can look into this mouse blocking it would be nice.
    Cheers!
