    Conqueror way too weak

The Conqueror class feels super weak, it lacks range, speed, and damage. Conqueror is really slow at attacking making it almost impossible to win a fight against an Orochi or Berserker. It's range is absolutely awful, allowing opponents to still hit you good while staying completely out of your reach. The damage is like hitting someone with a pillow, light attacks are a joke and heavy attacks don't even stand a chance at all compared to other classes. The defense aspect of the Conqueror is okay but I feel that at least one of those I said about the Conqueror above should be buffed or changed because it is the weakest class by far.

Rule of thumb for these forums. If you are going to post a thread about X hero is OP or too weak, then you either don't know how to counter or play the hero, respectively.
In either case, watching the vids under the hero entry and reading the move-set will be a very good step toward fixing the problem.

Conq...weak! Not a chance. I may just not be good at countering a good Conq player, but they are monsters on the field. That shield bash heavy attack combo as well as killing your combos, no chip damage or stagger, and they can charge a heavy while still block and change stance....ohhhh boy. Nothing underpowered about the Conqueror.

Forgot to mention they have an infinite light attack chain that speeds up as you change stance, have perfect defense mode, can hold an AOE attack, and have feats that heal on blocks and give dauntless. What a beast.

You have no idea what you're talking about.

Conquerer isn't weak, he's actually very strong!

He doesn't have a lot of reach, because he's using a flail...... he's got the same attack range as the berserker.
his damage is a bit pathetic IMO, because a flail should do a lot of damage, especially when you're using a ''heavy'' attack.

what's good about the conquerer, is that he can block in all directions and is able to shield bash opponents.....

The conqueror is extremely powerful i have no idea what your talking about. When charging your flail hitting them with the heavy attack twice will do 2/3 of a health bar on most enemies you fight. and its guaranteed when you follow it up after a parry. you cant be aggressive with him. you have a shield for a reason. Block and return the damage. If you just throw your weapon at them predictably he'll parry and go to town on you. Every Hero in this game has a different style and it takes a lot of time and practice to master them.

It's not guaranteed. But it is very difficult to avoid.
Have countered back and forth in Conq v. Conq duel until we both had no stamina several times.

This rule of thumb goes for every class EXCEPT Orochi who are confirmed, by the developers themselves, as being completely OverPowered and WILL be nerfed by Beta.

So other than Orochi, yea everyone else fills a Niche.

I really despise the way "Nerf" and "OP" have been adopted into the "gamer" lexicon.

Orochi is not overpowered, He's broken. Overpowered is a stats or rule-building term. For something to be OP you have to be able to quantitatively compare stats and mechanics to a standard and show discrepancy. This game is not an MMO and is incredibly high skill-cap, rendering OP an irrelevant term.

They already "nerfed" the Orochi in the TT, and took away the totally wrong thing IMHO. Unique counter mechanics are inherently problematic and should be avoided or a pure specialty thing. Fixing the Orochi's counters and the huge flexibility thereof is a far better solution than an actual Nerf (adjusting stats like damage, health etc.) And they should have left his original dodge mechanics alone. His mobility is what makes him cool and it's what makes him effective at high skill levels. The counters are just a crutch for most players until they learn how to actually use his flexible moveset and mobility to rip people to ribbons. And the people who can't will consistently get crushed. They just don't have the health to really make the anti-fun parryfest work against good opponents.

In conquest the Orochi's gank damage is so high it can be very frustrating. But i've never had a straight up 1v1 or duel with one where I lost to someone of lesser skill than myself. And I and many other people who have gotten deep into duel mode find that most Orochi players can't really beat someone who has spent the same kind of time on the Warden, Conqueror or Raider.

I believe very strongly from my time in the game that the problem with the Orochi is that it rewards scummy play at low skill levels. (Thus creating a bunch of toxic gankmonkeys who wouldn't know how to PTFO if you literally tattooed the definition to the insides of their eyelids and constantly whine about their score when they lose even though they only defended 2 objectives and boosted not at all) It makes latency issues absurdly frustrating. And makes it very punishing and frustrating when they are actually better at doing their thing than you are at stopping them. IMHO the former 2 need to be addressed without significantly impacting the latter. Otherwise there is no point to assassins at all.

The best experience I have had in this game by a mile is when I first faced a truly good Orochi. They way he fought blew my mind and made me excited to figure out how to beat him. And when I did it was an amazing feeling. And led to him finding ways to counter my new approach and around and around we went for something like 20 matches. That's awesome game design.

Blasphemy! Conqueror was easily my most powerful character. Felt like I was BULLYING the other characters at times.
