    Issue with spawn camping

So i just had a game where an enemy orochi got behind our spawn without us noticing. Every time one of us would spawn he would attack us and kill us before we could play. This is because when you spawn the camera starts zoomed out and then zooms to your character. While this is cinematic and looks cool, the inability to move or block let this orochi player kill us over and over without us being able to do anything. Eventually we stoped him by having multiple people spawn at once, but as you can imagine this slowed down our team considerably...

I had this happen, but with a pair of Berserkers.
They would sit behind spawn, chain attack, and wait for you to come back.

Thing is, there's actually a pretty simple solution for this. Have there be hidden archers in the spawn areas that'll snipe anyone that tries to Spawn Camp. Make it an automatic hit and an insta-kill. If the enemy gets to close, give them a warning saying that there are archers in the area that will shoot them if they go any further.

Not like it'd be asking too much either. The Spawn Points are WAY outside of where the combat should be.

I don't think it should be one-hit kill, because sometimes you might just pass by that area accidentally or when moving between capture points. And anybody who is low on health can just run back to their spawn and the person chasing them will get killed by the archers if that were the case. They would be forced to give up chasing and the spawn will become this overused safe zone.

However I think if you do stay in the spawn for too long and aren't in lock mode (or when you are not being locked on to) then you should be continuously fired upon by archers who will quickly drain your health. This will deal with campers who spend a lot of time idle, but it will allow for players who enter the area to fight someone that was running back there to not instantly die.

    This could work quite nicely.

Why even do that . It shows no skill and is just right out cheap tactics. The simple fix could be that a spawning player cannot be damaged for a few seconds after spawning back in . Give it enough time for the screen to be on the player and them have controle of there hero .

Wow that's dirty. Never seen it happen. I don't think the archers is a good idea. Spawn camping is a legitimate tactic (I think, anyway) but being able to attack you before you can move isn't. Either, make you invincible for a few seconds after spawn or make you invisible would be better solutions.

The spawn areas should be inaccessible to the enemy. Maybe ledges or something that the players need to jump down from after spawning in, and also have 2 or 3 separate areas to jump off of. A left, center, and right route. But once these ledges are jumped off of, they can't be climbed again, so no safe zone.

I admit to being guilty of one of those occasions.

It was at the knight's map and I was chasing down a runner who ditched our duel after being weakened. A berserker and I followed him to the spawn point and finished him off but by then his teammates were spawning in and jumped us. I guess I stood around too long and nailed quite number before being taken down. Dunno if you're part of that match but I'm sorry

I highly suggest the devs make the spawn point inaccessible to enemies and to allies once they pass a certain threshold. Many games like Chilvary have implemented that and it's a perfect fix to your problem

or they could do what BF do, have a 5 second time limit to get out of the spawn area before you die.
