I'd like to suggest that the vendor's items and especially the available blueprints scale to the player's level more closely. I have about 6 months worth of high end material and I don't know how much material overall. I've sold and deconstructed stuff forever and there's nothing to do with it. The reason is simple - there is nothing to craft because the blueprints available are several levels below the player's level. Once you get the mod blueprints, that's it. You start getting 268 GS drops, and you'd like to craft more of the matching set - too bad - the only blueprints available to you are 204 at best. All the weapon and gear set blueprints are all already beneath you. I'll end up with a thousand items of every material. So I'd like to suggest some work on the blueprint/crafting part of the game.
The only 268GS blueprints I have seen are 2 in the underground vendor.Originally Posted by EightSinclaire Go to original post
What if there was a third option for unwanted items.
Instead of selling or deconstructing them, use them to upgrade your existing blueprints. I doubt anyone is crafting green, blue or even purple items, especially after they reach level 30.
You could have two upgrade paths, quality and level. Upgrade your green blueprint to blue by sacrificing a similar blue item you found. You lose the item however you gain an improved version of that same blueprint.

Also, what about leveling crafting so that the more you craft or upgrade, the more BPs you can learn. Eventually, you could learn to upgrade actual gear, so once you leveled you could learn to upgrade that god-rolled 204 weapon to a 229.
