While I don't currently feel like Revenge mode needs to be buffed, I must admit Blizzia that when my opponents activated revenge mode, I generally either threw them around, or just blocked/parried them to kill the timer. Unless of course they just started going HAM on a teammate in which case you just overhead smash them as quickly as possible. In some cases I would just back off until the timer ran out, then re-engage.
Immunity to guard break would be cheese, unblockable would be mega-cheese. The only real change I'd like to see is for it to last much, much longer, but be drained every time an opponent hit you, made you block, made you guard break, made you parry. The idea would be that if you didn't keep attacking the revenge mode character, he would keep revenge for a good 30 seconds. If 2 or more players spend 30 seconds just blocking or staring at a revenge mode character, it's a loss for them. That's too much time spent by 2 people to maybe kill 1, all the while their team is outnumbered elsewhere on the map.
Since they'd need to attack you to drain the timer, you could make use of the huge defensive advantages offered by revenge mode.
My only opinion about the revenge mode they should disable it from the duel mode because it's a cheap way to win with, and the mode should be use for pure skill or luck only. To me on the other game modes it's already powerful enough to delay and kill the weakest opponent when getting ganged on, you just got to time it right to get the full effect.

At the same time i strongly disagree with making revenge mode super powerfull if your being ganked. Yes its not fun when your facing 3/4 alone but the answer is not to make revenge strong enough for 1 person so simply kill all of them. If someone is more skilled it should be a viable tactic to 2v1 him.
This comes down to gamemode since with larger maps ganktactics will be punished since their entire or most of their team will be fighting 1 while 3 of your allies can take the other points.
That said the point of the game is to have battles so the map should not be so large that it takes forever to get from one point to the other.
Yeah, sounds good to me. But honestly, i'd trade that for it healing you by one bar in addition to giving you the temporary 2.5 bars(or so). Then, you wouldn't be punished as hard for going on the offensive. They'd whittle down the temp bar, and the hit that finished the bar off wouldn't mangle your likely miniscule health bar the same way it did before. Second wind heals you even more, and you can just pop it once you hit revenge, so a teeny little heal shouldn't be too great an asking price.Originally Posted by zefurr Go to original post
