    Spawncamping

I've played several Dominion matches were the other side was dominating and just sitting in our spawn point to 4v1 anyone who would spawn in.

Maybe protect the spawn point until breaking?

Perhaps take a note from chivalry and have people spawn in a small area that is inaccessible from the outside? That way at least you could gather your forces to properly fight off that kind of players.

Just make the spawn points out of bounds for the opposing team.

Fine to control the choke points as people come out of spawn. Not fine to 4 v 1 them as they spawn.

This seems like a problem of one team not working together vs a team that is.

This is a constant problem in every competitive game. Hell, the contrast is easily visible in any team activity.

The way I see it, you have 60 seconds to wait before the game mechanics forces you to spawn. If timed properly, all four members of your team can spawn at the same time. If you're lucky you might get some minions to harass the enemy too.

The real problem might be getting dominated in the first place. Not trying to blame the victim here but when a match is thoroughly one-sided it means one group isn't getting a chance to truly play and another team isn't being challenged. This can make any competitive activity ultimately less enjoyable, even if you're winning.

There were a few suggestions in the thread so far. Making the spawn inaccessible does not seem optimal to me, I would not solve this problem by limiting skilled players.

In typical North American sports, there's a concept called "Running up the score" where the match is already decided and continued play serves only to pad the stats of the dominating team. It's widely considered bad sportsmanship and is often dealt with by implementing a mercy rule(ending the match). I think the same thing would be good here followed by a break-up of teams so everyone can get a better, more appropriately challenging match.

    i did spawncamping
it has nothing to do with skill or how the players from other team are
you just go 4 orichis and go A/C kill guy run B from both sides kill idiots who are fighting on B
you have 15 sec to go from A/C to B and from there to spawnpoint
80% we did the tacktic and anyone is instantly gimped
and saying you have to take dmg/block/parry for ravange is uselss becuase one guy from behind is just heavy hitting you like boss
the problem is that the respawntiemer is not respawning all players at the same time but everyone on diffrent time deppending when they died

The thing is though, you have complete control of when you actually want to spawn
Besides, there are a couple of seconds of spawn protection in all the games I've had the pleasure of harassing the spawn.
So, in essence, if the team being dominated in spawn just timed their spawns together, it would not be so bad. But then again, it all comes to the induvidual skills of the players.

Personally, over the 2 alphas I've played, spawn camping has been no problem, at all.

You already have the choice to spawn when you want so I don't see what the problem is besides your lack of teamplay.

HEY hey hey come on guys... lack of teamplay for being kickassed in 4v1 on A B or C -> OK, I totally agree with that, lack of teamplay or players experiences, blablabla.

but in the spawn area ? really ? not a problem ? If you take overwatch as an example (not the map, Blizzard game and just for the respawn area) you can't go inside the ennemy's respawn area to avoid that and I think it's totaly logical. I don't understand how we can be OK with that, even if we have the control on when we can respawn or if it's a teamplay trouble, that's not the point
the ennemy can not go inside the spawn area, period.
