You're telling me at that point there should be no other option but to give up on playing dominionall together? Wouldn't it make sense to have a solo queue option so everybody has an equal chance at having fun in the game they bought?
I don't really care if there's a solo mode but do I think there needs to be one? No, that's what PvAI is for. There's your "solo" mode".
Also, chances are if you meet somebody playing at the same time as you, they'll probably continue to play at the same time as you.

    Targeting system

I think I find that although the guard system is great for a 1v1 scenario, when it gets to 2v1 you start to get hampered, having to switch targets to block.

So the necessity of blocking in the direction an attack is coming from just puts you out too much huh? lol

Blocking an opponent that you're not currently targeting is actually more simplified that normal blocking. You just have to put your stance in their direction (either left or right) and no matter what stance they are attacking you with you will block them, unless they do an unblockable attack.
