    Disable Gore option ???

Particularly I am not a fan of gore (beheading/dismemberment ) but usually I don't mind it in games unless it throws it in your face. This games doesn't have that though, however what this game has is the ability to change the characters' gender and I personally don't feel comfortable looking at female characters getting beheaded.
Now, getting stabbed in the throat is fine because there is no actual visible wound with flesh popping out.
Another reason is that all characters (even the cannon fodder) feel so alive and realistic I almost feel bad for them.

All I'm asking is for an option to disable gore even if someone performs an execution and yes it would look ridiculous to see the sword cut through the victims neck but the head stays intact.... but that is my concious decision as a gamer to have it look unrealistic.

I think it's a good idea, as long as there isn't a "Suzie's Magical Ponycorn Adventure 2.0" option. There will be blood, it would be stupid if we could disable it completely.

However(Call me a sick motherlover if you want to), I would like to see an EXTREME gore option as well. Decapitations on the cannon fodder, with heads and limbs flying over the battlefield. Pools of blood forming on the ground, making splish-splash sounds as one walks over them. Enemy heroes left to die and bleed out in pain and agony after certain executions.
    But that's just my opinion.

... so it's ok to consistently watch men get beheaded, but not ok for women? interesting.

you understand this game carries a 'M' rating, right? Stick to minecraft, and you'll be just fine.

    extreme gore option ftw.

This game is awesome with blood and Fatalities !!!!! and would be better if bodies stay down longer to enhance the realism Like a medieval movie !

Obviously none of us have actually seen medieval warfare before, but pretty sure it was brutal and visceral. When you put a bunch of people in the same general vicinity with armor and sharp objects, I'm pretty sure there's going to be more than knicks and bruises going on.

We're not going for authenticity here (see female Kensei), but removing gore entirely? There's suspending disbelief and just outright ruining immersion.

Yes, millions of times yes to extreme gore. I actually found the current gore very underwhelming.

A no gore option would be fine in 1vAI but thats it. If you don't like excecutions then don't do them but I am against making something for you that is not available to everyone in a game with more than one person.

Ummm...no. They went through the trouble of adding female characters in the first place, despite the historical inaccuracies there. You should be equally fine with seeing them dismembered. You aren't being very fair to men by saying you're fine with seeing them brutally murdered but not the women.

You can also make the conscious decision to not play the game too.
