When starting the game, there is no way to tell the game which controller the player wants to use. The game just seems to pick one of the connected controllers and then ignores every other type of input completely. In my specific case, I have a Thrustmater HOTAS Warthog (throttle + stick) as well as some rudder pedals connected to the PC at all times. When I start "For Honor" and after I press any key to advance beyond the start screen, the game decides to use the flight throttle as primary and only input device. I cannot control the game using keyboard, mouse, my X360 pad or anything else.

In 2016, this seems unacceptable for a AAA PC release. In order to player, I have to crawl behind my PC and unplug all connected controllers except the one I actually want to use - only then can I even proceed past the start screen. This is a dealbreaker to me. Who wants to disconnect 3+ controllers every time just to play one game?

After starting the game, there is no options menu to select any controller. Maybe after the tutorial there is, but I am not playing through that with my flight throttle...

Steps to reproduce:
- plugin some flight stick, pedals or wheel controller to the PC
- start the game
- "Press any key"
- note how the game will refuse to acknowledge any keyboard or mouse input (or a connected Xbox360 controller) and only reacts to one of the other, unsuitable controllers

Expected result:
The game should never just listen to one controller - or at the very least the player should be able to select his controller of choice intentionally. The player should also always be able to control at least the menus with his keyboard.

There already is a "Press any key" prompt at the start screen - why does the game switch to controller input, when the player presses a keyboard key there? Why does it switch to a different controller, when I press a button on my Xbox 360 pad on that screen?
