    Survival/Horde Mode?

Was wondering if that was in the works. You and a friend making a stand (not sure whether it would be till you died or reached a set number of waves) against an army of enemies, Maybe throw an objective or two here or there to keep things fresh and earn some xp and iron.....or whatever they call their ingame currency for your heroes. Like holding an area or killing another elite Hero to make the trash run away or something. Thoughts?

This sounds like a good idea a couple of suggestions I have are :

Different enemies on different waves (i.e. minions first wave, 1 warden and minions second wave, 1 warden and 1 raider and minions 3rd wave etc).
Should be 4 player (back fill with bots if not enough players).
Objectives should be included (i.e. 1 wave hold objective C, next wave hold objective A) to make people move around a bit.

Hell Yea. Maybe we are protecting the King while the castle is being stormed by enemies from all directions. We have to get him to safety by escaping the kingdom.

The first wave is in the Kings chambers where we go to escort him out of the kingdom.

Once we eliminate the first wave we proceed to Castles main hall where wave 2 attacks.

Once we eliminate the second wave, we proceed to the courtyard where wave 3 attacks.

This could continue through the different areas of the kingdom until we successfully escort the king to safety.

sounds good, but the campaign can be played in co-op as well, wouldn't that kinda be the same?
but a separate wave mode would be nice and add to replay-ability.

Campaign mode has you play as a specific character/s throught the story line and changes as it goes. This would be your multiplayer class/characters as well as your friends and allow you to unlock and progress in another manner other than pvp. Just more as a way to break things up and give you another option.

Another scenario, though similar in nature. The kingdom has been overrun, and defeat is inevitable. But instead of laying down your weapon and bowing to the invading King, you would rather fight and die with honor. So you pledge your allegiance to your king and fight a never ending enemy assault until your death. Taking down as many as you can.

Pretty much a survival horde mode with a back story.
