Are the current game mode tiresome? | Forums

Let me start off by saying I've had a lot of fun playing this game so far. However the currently presented game modes feel like they will tire quickly as they seem to offer little room for expansion. Does anyone else feel this way?

I feel that dominion could be longer. From 1k to 1,5 or 2k points. I feel like the round barely starts.

I agree with 1.5k or 2k points. 1k is way to short.


Another problem is the flags. They cap WAY to fast, and there's ZERO audible alert for the defenders to do much about it. The whole defense layer of strategy is absent from the game.

I mostly play Dominion vs AI. Since even after many games I have yet to incorporate everything a character can do in combat, the AI is challenging in duels and deadly in 2-vs-1. Yet somehow I've only lost 1 or 2 battles out of dozens.

I'd like the mode to be more challenging, but also have the option to practice combat in battles vs AI of the current difficulty. So I hope there are multiple difficulty level options for AI modes in the full game.

I like being able to jump into short (~10 min) games as that doesn't require the need for a few spare hours. However, the game does seem to take a while to load (even when installed on an SSD with an M.2 port (approx data rate max is 10GB/s read and write, and an i7 processor) - so that does let it down a bit. Having some more in-depth game modes would add a bit more variety to the game and increase its longevity I think.

I'm also not convinced by the games ability to balance teams in player v player. I've had a few games where it's been 4 players v. me and 3 bots!

Agree with you!
Thoge i’m a person that only have time to play 1-2 games a day, but some weekends i have more time. So i would probably last whit this game in a year if not more. Though i doubt that others actually who want to play it daily multipli hours a day will stay weary long.

It is not enough of variation, i played it the whole weekend, had even taken a vacation day on the friday so i could play, and i felt in the end, this isn't as fun anymore. It is an awesome game buy it need more modes you can play

Id like the game mode Dominion to have more length and strategy for sure.

Tiresome quick however I dont see. First I liked all heroes so far and all require different playstyles. And system for fighting is very deep. Truelly mastering a hero will cost time. Dueling good players felt refreshing each fight.

That said any game benefits fron more modes. Be it a survival mode or VIP mode or tournament this game is suited for all. But for me I can see myself playing this for many months if not years

TBH, i got pretty bored already on day 2, dominion maps / mode were just a rumble-pit with flags.
