I actually learned a lot from visual gameplay especially from streamers but I need to know how the actual movesets look repetitively. The basic and advanced videos doesn't have an option to rewind and I end up watching the whole thing again just to check one skill over and over again -___-"
This. I came here first and foremost, admittedly, to complain about the tutorial system. The initial practice even with the "Stay and learn more" doesn't effectively teach you all the basic gameplay mechanics (or did I just miss the notes on parry the several times I've ran it?).
That the videos seem to be the expected method of learning most of the game it's a crime that they A) can't be paused, B) don't have skipping/timestamp/rewind/control of some sort and C) seem to be exclusively for XBox controllers. Using a PS4 controller it isn't hard to translate and once you've played the game a bit you can reasonably translate to keyboard/mouse but for a first time "this is how things are done" it's pretty awful to not see it in your control scheme.
I understand that this is an Alpha so I feel like I should say this with more tact than I have (as I doubt this is the state it will be in come release or even Beta) but if this IS how it is intended to be, it's plain awful.
Tutorials should be made to be useful to those who learn through trial and application as well as those who read and watch but right now it fails to really do either effectively. If you think you've learned all the gameplay mechanics by doing the intro practice session: I'm pretty sure you're plain wrong. Also: pre-rendered videos are infinitely worse than a simple third person in game spectator session.
Finally, a free roam practice that doesn't demand you go through the tutorial every time would be nice. Again, probably a limitation of being in Alpha as opposed to release or even Beta.
Just putting this out there in the off-chance this isn't in notes or on the dev teams mind. Although, I could be wrong on all of this.
