ive read a majority of the post and i want to point out the underlying point people are trying to come too. Yes it is a team game but there is a total difference between i fight a guy and have him to 10 HP and you take my kill EVERY FREAKING TIME, to that of Im getting mauled by 2 people and then you take both kills to SAVE ME your TEAM MATE. TEAM GAME !!!
If you save me you deserve both those kills but dont tell me just because im taking so long that you getting the final blow is kosher. if you are playing dominion you can go find a point that needs to be taken or even help a teammate who IS GETTING MAULED. ( i have ran in to random match with all randoms im stuck in a croner getting group ganked by three while they group gank only solo player.) yes there is an exception to team ganks ie; a power house player with a great defense who keeps wiping you out solo. everyone is fighting to the finish in a all out brawl in the middle fair game.
im a conquer and i agree with some of these other honorable players. if i come in and bash you to the ground and back off to let my team mate continue is fair. i play geb on smite i get lots of assist that doesnt bother me its my job. but i know when to pull, when to kite and when to team gank.
lets get back to the main subject KILL STEALS the best time to really understand how frustrating this game can be for people who get their kills stolen. i have been playing for 2 hours straight to complete one simple task get 8 kill with out dying (dominant skirmisher) ON AI , WHY!?!?!?! i dont know..... the assassin class character comes around with its grab poke or flying poke for final kill after i relished that guy in flurries of hell from my flail , does this really sound honorable. (by the way you get more points for honorable kills (1 v 1) look at the total every time you kill someone solo, ohh wait you dont know what that means because you are looking for the quick kill.)
So in order to finish the DOMINANT SKIRMISHER you have to kill 8 without dying, YOU have to be the physical killer for it to work. how do i know this because i will go around and get 15 and 0 and not get the order because 10 of those kills were executed by the stupid kill stealer and i get the assist.
So if you think you are better just because you killed someone faster i bet when you play one v one (if you ever do) and you fight a methodical shield brother because you might be a peace keeper or orochi, dont get mad because all they do is block, what else are they going to do they got a SHIELD, we know that assassin flurry so we dont get mad we wait for your mistakes.

POINT AND CASE there is a time and place to take some ones kill, but dont be the cancerous ***** who ruins the game for people because you have 108 gear that has high damage, stamina , and speed. Go get points or if its a skirmish block your buddy from getting jumped we all know it will happen so you each get a fair kill if you wait and be patient.
