    Renown vs. Level

I know there is a difference, but how exactly is renown gained? Is there a cap to renown in the Alpha?

You gain levels by earning exp and levling up (obviously) and 20 is max level.

You can 'Renown' once you hit level 20 but it will take you back to level 1 and give you +1 Renown (also called Prestige in other games).
    Renown cap is 5.

They said they were all unlocked for the Alpha but they dont plan on seeing anyone hit Renown 5.

They don't forsee it? I hit renown 4. Maybe I should go prove them wrong lol, but I'm sure someone has already.

If that is the case, I hit renown 10 but nothing unlocked needing renown.

I thought it was called Reputation ??

Then, what is the "renown" that you gain during certain action the each match ? (depending of your class)

Renown refers to your current (per game) xp level (i.e., The little bar at the bottom left of the screen that fills up as you slaughter enemies / minions). Renown is how you unlock your different abilities (like the Raider's Fire Flask) in eatch individual match.
