Good but Needs Balancing and slight tweaks

I want to start off with I am enjoying my time with this game, but there are a lot of times I want to pull out my hair. For instance in all the time I've played so far assassins almost always die when theres more than one person, and I feel that theres should be a bit of a balance for that. I feel this way due to how all the other characters are able to get their revenge and still have a good chance to survive, but once it hits assassins especially the berserker I almost always died in those situations. I don't want to sound like I'm whining, but at this rate I feel like players that aren't complete masters at the game will be incredibly discouraged to play these characters and I don't want that to happen. Now that I've talked about that problem the last things that I would like to shed some light on are light fixes. For instance every now and then the camera tends to glitch a bit for me and tends to get in the way of the stance indicators, and finally there have been some weird glitches like soldiers phase through fences and what not. Overall the game is good with the controls and the feel, but please for the love of god balance the assassins.

Although I had lttile time to play it yesterday, the only main issue from my friends, is the connection. I have not had a major issue, but like i have said before, lag, and dc's can destroy a game for everyone. I know you guys are trying your best, and the only thing I can say is, thank you for making a awesome game and I am looking forward to playing this when it comes out. you know, after the game is fixed up and all.

    combat system broken

Hi I like the alpha so far but I feel that There needs to be a system To punish people. That spam. Quick attacks. No matter how many times You block them. They always can still Attack. And even if they ran out of Stamina. They can still attack I feel that the attack speed should be reduced And if it is blocked. The stamina loss should be greater. I would love to hear. Your guys opinion. THX

i feel the steel reward is too low actually and that the game need maybe some conquest type mode, where you advance on the map for conquer a castle or a fort.

outside this i can't wait to see what you plan to add on the long terms

I have been having so much fun with this game the last few days. I really feel like you have to understand the ways of your class to get ahead, and not just button mash. One thing I am having issues with is how often and how easy it is to get you guard broken and then kicked off a ledge. Maybe I just have some more work to do in learning how to protect myself from attacks like that, but I feel like every time I go into battle, no matter what stance I am in, I can get guard broken then kicked off a ledge. Maybe just raise the cool down for such a move so they cant continue to use that tactic one right after the other. Good job with everything else though Ubisoft, it has been a fun experience so far!

I am having fun, but can see hopping into Ranked matches loaded with 1-Game players & getting constantly slaughtered in mere seconds.

I also agree with others that a non-Ranked option to be able to Battle with friends.

Also what needs to be added is a definite Ranking system. This would benefit so a first day player doesn't get matched up against a 750-2 Player.

Another aspect is that it's going to be very hard to control the fact tat not everyone has a great or even good internet connection. That being said, an option to set a limit on how much different your opponent's ping is, meaning if there is too much of a difference a match-up would not be made.

    Keep up the good work.

Sadly, I've been locked out of the matchmaking for almost two days now. Got that damn bug from the early morning server issues of day 1 that prevented completion of the tutorial so I never unlocked matchmaking. Really hoping the devs figure this all out soon, cuz I'd hate to go another day without being able to provide proper feedback.

The game has exceeded my expectations, granting that it's a beta. Well done! I can't wait to play with all characters and modes.

The only major annoyance so far has been getting knocked off ladders by allied players. It has happened twice. I don't know whether it was intentional or not. The first time, I seemed to have been pulled off. The "friendly fire" aspect of combat is fine. But friendly-death-by-ladder is just griefing and adds nothing to the game.

There doesn't seem to be much benefit for sacrificing items to upgrade the stats of other items, at least this early in the game (level 11 Conqueror). I would rather loot fresh gear anyway. But perhaps low-level loot should be upgraded quicker than high-level loot, since the high-level stuff will presumably be stuff we want to hang onto for a long time... or not as quickly outclassed by further salvage.

Dynamics are what keep it fun. Customization, plenty of combat options, an ever-shifting battle, environmental hazards... good job! I was particularly impressed by how different the Conqueror plays from the Warden. If all classes are so unique, For Honor will have a ton of replay value and room for individual playstyles. I'll try the northmen classes tomorrow.

If the character types are all fun and the loot doesn't lack variety, I'd be happy with the current modes. But something a little deeper would be nice. It will probably feel complete with the story mode, but something a bit more like the gladiator mode in Ryse: Son of Rome might be cool. By that I mean a mode that progresses from one dynamic challenge to another, as opposed to the tug-of-war in Dominion.

The depth of combat is incredible! It's much more challenging than what it looks like in videos. The tutorial videos and experience are good enough, but any additional options to help us hone our skills and master each class under controlled circumstances would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

Not bad but otherwise not really good!

This game is not bad so far but you guys still have a lot to do like the lock on system is really dumb, the matchmaking isn't really fair, and i don't know will there be more online content? When not then it will be like the division for a month or two a pretty good game but then it gets really boring! Thid game has the potential to be really good but please don't **** it up UBISOFT!

    Love it but still work2do

Played a few hours now and totally fell in love with the game! specially the samurai assasin fits my playstyle perfect even tho hes hard to master.. but that GOOD!
Im a little bit disappoited as the Controler Support promised it kinda tricky.. it lists the Steamcontroler but i cant rly use mine as there arnt configs for it :/ right now im plaing with mouse and keyboard (Pc Masterrace) and its still tones of fun.. Prob gonna buy a ps4 or xbox controler for that awsome game...
feedback in general is good. had a few minor problems with matchmaking time.. but i think its on my side as my nat is red (no idea how to change that)..
lost the connection once for no reason and once cuase of maintance..
1v1 is tones of fun but the viking with the big axe seems a bit unbalanced to me atm.. or i just havent found a way to counterplay him as its supposed to be (maybe its that..).
Had 2x a bug in 1v1 where the scoreboard was buged... once it showed like 4 wins - 2 deaths for my win (+1 on death and kill counter in round 4). once it was... just buged..
but as its still a closed alpha im rly happy overall!
cant wait to play more on day 2 and upcoming tests!

    greetings Mazuba
