    XBox 360 to XBox 1

I play rocksmith on my 360. I also have the One. If I buy rocksmith for the XBox One will I have to re-purchase my dlc songs?

If you've purchased DLC on an Xbox 360 then you can bring it forward to Xbox One.

You'll have to redownload each song on the Xbox One and then you're good to go.

I think you start again from scratch, because it's technically a different game. You certainly have all the achievements to do again, if you're bothered about that.

    DLC Transfer

So I bought a lot of DLC on the RS1 on Xbox 360 then bought RS2014 on Xbox One and when I try to download all my DLC from RS1 it wants me to repurchase it. I thought it might have just been the individual song but it hasnt worked for Paralyzer, Bohemian Rhapsody, Black Betty, White Wedding part 1, etc. Any thoughts?

Did you use the same account on both consoles?

    Try this

go into games and apps on the xbox one
highlight rocksmith 2014 and press enter on the controller
choose manage gamefrom the left hand side menu
    choose ready to install
all your 360 dlc will be on the right hand side choose install all

If you have more than a few hundred DLC songs, don't choose install all as it'll break the Xbox One. Instead individually select to install songs in blocks of 50-100 songs.

I better bookmark this forum section. All this info will come in handy when MS lowers the price of digital version of RS 2014 from $60 and I buy it.

I have no idea how I missed the Ubi sale on MS's site back in March.
