    Game won't start up

Hello there, I recently had a problem with my game failing to start up. I've tried all the potential solutions posted on this thread and it has still failed to work. I keep getting an error message pop up stating that 'There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into disk F:'. However, obviously this game is not in disk format so it is not possible to insert a disk. I tried clicking 'continue' twice (the message re-appeared) and after that it gets stuck on the minimized loading screen, failing to start up. I have already spoken to the Ubisoft support centre and they believe it is a registry corruption issue, most likely due to anti-virus software or overlay software messing up the connection between the game and Uplay. I do have Bit-defender installed, but have already excluded both Uplay and the game files themselves from screening, yet the problem still persists. Does anyone know of any potential fixes to this?

Im unable to start the game. When i click on play a new windows pops up that doesn't do anything. The new window will install Direct X if its a fresh install or after verifying game files.
I have reinstalled the game multiple times as well as doing everything this thread suggests. I have also noticed that the inability to start the game is not on the Known issues thread. Please help me, I really want play this game.

    Futile

Same problem right here! I have wasted 2 days to make For Honor work but nothing apparently works. My rig is top noch, i have reinstalled and redownloaded the game two times now, run uplay with admin privileges and so on. I even emailed Ubisoft and have gotten no answer whatsoever. There goes my free time and my weekend night.

    Hy all,
    Try this :
Install the game and give it Run as administrator in Proprieties and then :

1.Close Uplay (right click on the icon near the clock and quit)
    2.Enter Uplay
    3.Start the game.

I'm not kidding. worked for me after i tried all the other solutions.

Do you have your firewall on?
Did you get an alpha code?
    Administrator mode?
What does your Task Manager look like?

    I fixed it for me!!

I COMPLETELY disabled Bitdefender and it worked for me instantly. That was it, freakin Bitdefender.
