Hello Warriors,
If you are having trouble launching the game, please try the following:
Possible Workaround 1:
- Run Uplay in Admin mode
Possible Workaround 2:
- Disable Anti-Virus software (BitDefender being a main offender here)or add the game and Uplay as an exception in your anti-virus software.
Possible Workaround 3:
- If you’re running on an Intel integrated chipset, try forcing the dedicated GPU instead:
- "Under the "manage 3d settings" tab in the nvidia control panel, you should be able to navigate to your game's .exe and specify which GPU to use from there.
Possible Workaround 4:
- Ensure the game is installed on your C: drive
Possible Workaround 5:
- Try launching the game from an entirely new Windows system profile:
- Windows 7: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...d-user-profile
- Windows 8: http://windowsreport.com/windows-8-f...-user-profile/
- Windows 10: http://www.techbout.com/fix-corrupt-...ndows-10-9139/
Possible Workaround 6:
- Try unplugging your controller/non-essential peripherals then launch the game again. Once this is doen you should be able to reconnect your controller. Also temporarily disable any software linked to the controllers.
If the above doesn't resolve the issue can you please submit your logs to support?
Instructions to get the logs:
- Navigate to your Uplay installation directory (default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft Game Launcher\)
- Select folder “logs”
- Submit all contained textfiles to Ubi Customer Support: https://support.ubi.com/en-GB
My game is stuck on the loading screen when I launch.
I have tried everything on the list above with the exception of installing it on my C drive.
I use my C drive for my OS, not for games. I am running multiple SSD's and have all my games on separate SSD's from my C drive.
Never had a problem launching a single game the way I have it configured.
Is there anything else other than putting this game on my C drive to get it to run?

AMD R9 390 8GB
Disabled antivirus and firewall, nadda.

I'm stuck at the UPlay launching screen as well. Tried all of the suggested solutions except installing the game on C because this is my windows partition.

Game stuck on uplay load. I see the game start in task manager but the it disappears and the uplay load window just stays there.
Tried everything, no luck.
DX diag and logs submitted.
I have tried everything that has been listed in this thread and more, and nothing has worked. I have tried, along with all the workarounds already mentioned, running in compatibility mode, killing any task in task manager that looked like it may stop the game, and completely disabling antivirus software. I started a live chat earlier and waited well over an hour before I got someone. Not a big deal, but then what I was told to do took a couple minutes, and because I was doing that, the chat automatically ended itself and I cannot start it back up or start a new one. I don't know what else to try. I have been doing this for two days now and I have accomplished nothing. I'm thinking it's about time to give up on the alpha, which is really disappointing because I was really looking forward to playing it.I guess I'll just have to wait for the beta and test the game then.
