I was thinking about new factions, nothing serious but it could be a fun thing. These came to my mind:

Ottomans

Assassins(Because why not?)

Nice thoughts but an assassin is not realy a faction wich 1. is seen in a Massive battle like that and 2 reason is an assassin is something u become not something u stand for as a country or region

There'd be plenty of factions to choose from, if they went the extra mile to add a totally new 4th and even 5th faction(s). Maybe in a paid DLC, but def not for launch.

The inca / mayans

Chinese dynasties? (might be visually similar to the samurai, but they definitely had way different weaponry)

Greeks

The mongols

Any of the middle-eastern empires with their turbans, black mascaras and curved swords

Roman Legion

Some faction based warriors I'd like to see;

-Aztec, Incan, Mayan, or Native American
-Some type of Nomadic warriors (Like the Mongolians)
-Roman styled (Gladitorial would be cool)
-Chinese based
-Maori warriors
-Mamluks

I'd love to see a Persian faction (all the suggestions here are pretty neat, though)
