i can't seem to find any threads on this and i'm looking to see if there is any work around
When i try to invite my friend to party/lobby with me it gives him this message ""You didn't succeed to join the group, try again later"" - We both have open Nats and have been playing with each other all day and now apparently this happens
Anyone else?
Hi guys,
Can you make sure both you and your friends have carried out the port forwarding detailed here:

I am completely sick of this, I haven't been able to join parties ever since the full game came out even though my NAT type is open AND I was able to in the BETA with no issues at all. If there is a fix please tell and don't redirect me to the troubleshooting page as I have already done every single thing there and yet I still cannot join parties.

Hi,
I encountered the same issue and I've successfully solved mine, perhaps what I did can be a little bit of use to you.
We are two people accessing the same game under the same network, when I try to join a party, I am unable to connect (my status in lobby hangs at "joining"), sometimes the host is able to join a game on their own, but the other one is always left unable to connect (the game gave me no errors on this at any point, only hangs/crashes).
I remembered seeing this same problem happen with L4D back in the day, the solution then was to add a line to the game launch options. In case you are not familiar with this:
In steam Library, right click For Honor, and select 'Properties'. In properties, select 'Set Launch Options...'. You will be presented with a prompt to type in different options for the game launch. Each new command is separated by a space and a "+". Type in '+clientport 27006', without quotes. Click okay and close the properties window.
I have confirmed that this is the only fix that enables me to join parties at the moment. Prior to this I had of course opened the correct ports in port forwarding and ensured that my NAT type was 'Open', but this alone was not enough to fix my issue. Let me know if this solves your problems, and if Ubisoft has enough free time to investigate, I would be curious to know why this problem occurs and why this fix resolves it. Good Luck!
