    Samurai definitely overpowerd

Dodge, dodge hits me dodge, dodge hits me and repeats there to fast I can't keep up. I can take on everyone else but not samurai's

I do pretty well against Orichis with my Conquerer.

I try to push them into a corner.

Orochi counter is fine. Just interrupt a heavy attack to bait a block from them and you've got your opening.

The issue is that you have no choice but to fight them straight up. Their frequency of attack and forward momentum mean rolling away from them is useless and they can chase anyone down, locking players into a fight.

Other wise the game is fun.
Personally I have no problem with the Samurai. I find that I'm able to counter orochi's attacks really easily and he takes a lot of damage. that and i don't find him that hard to block either. i mean yes he does strike fast but once you are able to identify his combos he's an easy block.

Orochi's best combo is the light top attack, so you can use that knowledge against them, making for a relatively easy parry of an aggressive orochi. Additionally, they are extremely susceptible to well timed feints and guard breaks; Orochi's have low enough health that even a light hit on them means a lot of damage dealt. Conquerors can also interrupt combos with their blocks, buying lots of time for them to retaliate. Beyond that, Orochi's are nearly worthless against more than one opponent, so if you stick with team mates you can just beat them down with little issue.

Didn't the Orochi already get like, two nerfs lol. He makes less damage than in the beginning and also got a move completely changed so it wouldn't be too OP. He is supposed to be fast and he is supposed to be a counter attacker, hence the strong counter attack but otherwise they can't really take hits, three strong Raider attacks and he's done for good. If people would take time to study the movesets a little instead of complaining, there would be a lot less of those "[class] is OP, please nerf!!!" threads lol.

This post tells me you weren't a part of the actual TT otherwise you would know they did.

They were far worse before and now they are manageable as long as you play smart.

Yes they are difficult to fight but they are not the top class in the Alpha. That title belongs to the Conqueror because a good Conqueror will beat any other class hands down when wielded by a good player. A skilled Orochi will never EVER beat a skilled Conqueror unless the Conq is making silly mistakes. I struggle against the Orochi as well but not because the class is supposedly OP or anything but because my playstyle is countered by it.

Try changing up your playstyle a little bit and being more defensive and letting them come to you rather than you going to them which is what they want.

Conqueror is the king right now. What people don't seem to understand is that every class in the game has the counter attack ability, it's called "parry." It's just easier to do on the Samurai so they can pubstomp players who don't know how to do it. If you can parry then you can easily punish the samurai for attacking far more than he punishes you for attacking.

I have to agree I personally feel the samuri are overpowered or at least the game gives no indication on how to play against one. They seem to be able to spam their moves so quickly and I can't figure out how to successfully block their attacks. I am/was so on board with buying this game after playing the beta, but now that we're at the final day and and all the COD kids play samuri and (imo) make the game less fun. I know I need to practice more, and I am going to, but when something causes THIS big of a frustration for me I can't help but wonder if it's worth it.
