    The Chatbox

While i am glad this game has a chatbox to type to other players it really needs some love.

For starters it clearly has no special place in the UI and simply sits on top of other parts of the UI on some screens and obstructs the view of other information.

Second, in the 4v4 mode especially is it less useful because it occupies the same space as kill messages and dissappears fast.

Third, it badly needs to show past messages when you press T to open the chatbox so that you can read messages that were written more than a few moments ago.

Fourth, it is interrupted by screen changes unnecessarily (duel mode especially), which greatly discourages any messaging between rounds since screen changes will quickly delete your message after you post it. If the chatbox had its own spot in the UI it would make sense to make it persist through the various mid-game (duel mode) and after-game (other modes) screens and would encourage more player communication.

Yes, I am aware there is voice chat as well, but if you are going to bother to have a chat box at all why not make it fully functional?

Currently it is bare bones barely functional, but I'm sure this is just to have something basic for the alpha and it will be developed further down the line.

Glad I decided to check before making this thread. Definitely agree on all accounts. Hopefully wyrdb0y is right and it's just a standin that already had plans to be given more appropriate functionality, and be integrated more conveniently.
