For Honor Download won't Start | Forums

Even after multiple pc/uplay restarts, I cannot even start the download for For Honor, and it gives me the error message "Failed to start download. Uplay is unable to start your download. Check that you have an active internet connection and sufficient space on your hard drive then try again." Thing is, I have a pretty decent internet connection that is working and I have 100 GB of storage left on my pc, so I don't know what to do. Help?

I had the same problem it's in issue with uplay, You have to close uplay then right click on launcher and run as administrator. That what I did and it worked.

I am having the same problem and running it as administrator didn't work for me

I can't seem to get the update that applied today. I played last night and it worked fine, but today it won't let me update.

Tried running as admin, disabling firewall, and I have more then enough space..

notice how the come in when the issue is fixed for OP. soon as u asked, then dipped. ubisoft customer service is the worst and none know what they are doing besides posting a copy and paste "come to our faq"

I verified my game files and then it asked me to repair and as soon as i did the download for the update started. Hope this helps
