While I've only played for a little while now, I am enjoying the game play. It is hard to get used to blocking but with every new game, the more you play the easier it will be to get it down. I've started with the Samurai since I've always admired theit culture. I've tried the two different characters they offer and it's interesting the the Orochi has such a short time to block. He is faster than the Kensei and has some fast paced attacks and moves to help get out of the way quickly. Once again it will take time to get used to it so I can play the character more efficiently. So far no bugs on my end (although it is still rather early to tell for sure). I am part of the preview program which sometimes makes apps and games crash more often. So I'm happy to see the game playing well on my Xbox. I still need to play more before I judge it too much. As of now I like it and hope that as I play more I start to love playing it. I will update the post later with how I feel after playing for a day or two.
For those curious if it's worth your time or money down the road. I know I'm buying the game just from the little time I've played it. I am a fantasy gamer at heart and have always loved the different cultures of ancient times. So for me this is a little slice of heaven.

I am updating this post as I said I would after playing for a few days.

For an alpha I am surprised by how little bugs I have come across. The biggest problem I've had is loading into some rounds, which either started to work like it was supposed to or they did something to help this, as I now have very little trouble with that.
I am getting more and more used to the game play mechanics and it is becoming increasingly easier to play the game and enjoy it even more so. Why it can be frustrating at first to people, all I have to say is keep at it. I went through the same thing and now I am getting very fluent in my movements and can fight more than one person at a time without getting killed all the time (I even made it through a three person attack).
I will update this post one more time with my final thoughts of things that could be worked on and how much I enjoyed the game. As of now I am still going to get this game the day it's released and it will be the golden / deluxe version for sure. It would be even better to get ahold of a collectors edition so the second I can pre-order I am going to do my best to get my hands on it!
