Hello Everyone,

So I just got up try to open the game it installed direct x and then is stuck with a black window sitting in the middle of the screen? Does anyone know where the logs are...

I got the exact same issue and i dont know how to fix it either, please help.

Ok so:

I have tried running the game as an administrator, restart, reinstall of the game, and have updated all the drivers on this machine but it will not launch. The application opens and just sits as a window completely black no sound.

This is on:
Windows 10 X64
Nvidia GTX970
Asus Sabertooth Z97 MKII
Intel I7-4790k
16gb corsair vengeance ram 1600mhz

For me its not black that window, but For Honor Alpha image, and sort of uPLay sign like loading, but nothing after that, just hanging like that

Can confirm!
Bitdefender antivirus stopped my game from running. Firewall exclusion IS NOT ENOUGH!
you need to add exclusions for files, folders AND processes or it will stop the program in those stages.
