Stuck at "Who would you fight for" | Forums

So I loaded up the game just fine except for when I get to the "Who would you fight for" screen. I can't select anything, does anyone know of a fix?

Possible fixes for people:

If you have another controller like a HOTUS, try unplugging it. It didn't fix my issue but it helped some people.

Uninstalling any controller driver you may have used in the past and only reinstalling the one you are using now. This can include Vjoy for those who have used a PS3 controller or the xbox 360 controller drivers. I had to uninstall everyone and reinstalled my xbox one controller driver and it worked.

So, i unplugged my mouse and keys from the PC, and then booted the game using my controller from Uplay, and tadaa! it worked fine, only downside is, I'm completely unable to type or use the mouse, but at least i can play.

Have no controls, using both controller and mouse and keys. Just doesn't respond ):

yep same here, it seems when i restart the game it switched to another faction but still doesn't let me pick it or do anything at all. if i connect my xbox one controller the game crashes and then if i try to start up the game with the controller connected the game gets stuck trying to start up.

i traied verifying game files running compatible to win 7 and disabling my firewall no luck

I am just adding to the list as everyone else... Cant even get the mouse cursor to appear to pick a faction to fight for.
