Check with your bro, the invite should be on email or at list here:

It is possible that the player with acces to one platform cannot be invited to other console...
If your spare invites number did not go -1 then please try inviting Raodena (uplay name)

EDIT: Yup, it works. Thank You and see you in-game. I'll be playing on PC as Raodena or on Xbox as Inzibleth and my boyfriend on Xbox as Tengg-Eri
