    Controller Problems

So im using a PS4 controller with DS4 at the moment and it works as a xbox controller in every single game i have no problem, except with the crew, instead it seems like all keybindings for the controller are blank and i cant change them. When i press something on the controller is changes from pc buttons on screen to nothing. Another thing is that it works fine in the U-play launcher as an xbox controller. Very strange, have tried it on autodetect and pad settings under controls not sure what else to do, hopefully someone is in the same boat or has been, Thanks anyway all help is appreciated.

Same problem here, now I'm starting to think that it's a Windows Anniversary Update problem. Windows now cause conflict with the direct input system. Ds4 windws (a program which emulates the xbox pad) says that it's impossible to work in exclusive mode... etc etc... Is it like having two controllers paired at the same time?
I have the same problem in Dark souls 2, which you can't use without this exclusive mode

On W10, what I do to make the gamepad work on exclusive mode is connecting the DS4 via cable or bluetooth as soon as the pc starts, before it loads up too many background processes, that way it registers as exclusive on W10 for me, try it and see if it works.

However, that does not seem to be the problem with The Crew, because even with exclusive mode on, the game does not recognize any gamepad input, I read on an older thread that the issue seems to be Geforce Experience and Shadowplay, which is ironic, considering this is one of those "Nvidia enhanced games".

Are your videocards Nvidia as well? If so, try deactivating Shadowplay, or uninstalling Geforce Experience, I'm trying this now, to see if it works.

Edit: Okay, here's how I got it to work, after uninstalling Geforce Experience, it still wasn't working for me, so, after a little more research, I noticed that the keybindings for the gamepad were all blank on the rebind screen, so I went into the Documents\The Crew folder, deleted Bindings.xml; Bindings_PAD.xml and Bindings_6cb1beb1.xml (which I believe are random numbers and letters, so it might be different for you guys).

Close DS4Windows and open it up again, and go into The Crew, now it still wasn't working, but I was able to set a couple of bindings, like accelerate, however, there were still buttons that weren't binding normally, leaving an empty space, like brake, so I unplugged my DS4, stopped DS4Windows to shut down the xbox360 controller, by clicking the "Stop" button on the lower right corner of the ds4windows window, and plugged my spare xbox one gamepad, which wasn't working either, then I clicked the reset bindings button and the Xbox One inputs showed up.

After that, I closed the Crew, set up DS4Windows again, put it in excluvise mode using the method I mentioned above, and voilá, it now works for me.

Don't know how much this will help you guys, but now it works Ok for me, I hope I helped in some way.

If you guys do the steps above, but don't have a Xbox One pad spare to do the "Set to default" step above, I think I can share my Bindings_PAD.xml, since it's already all mapped with the Xbox inputs, I'll up it somewhere, in the occasion that it's against some rule to post download links here on the forums, add and contact me either on Uplay or Steam @ ravos310, and I'll share the download link to my XML.

My wireless Xbox 360 controller isn't even working, and that's the official Microsoft controller and receiver.

EDIT: I just deleted Bindings_PAD.xml like you mentioned and now it works perfectly, thanks.
