OPTIONS > CONTROLS
For Keyboard / Mouse users:

• The Camera Sensitivity and Stance sensitivity can be adjusted to reduce the distance you need to move the mouse to perform camera movements (when out of Lock) or stance changes (when in Lock).
• Stance/Camera sensitivity is affected by the mouse you are using and the DPI it's set to. For Honor is being tuned using a mouse set to 1000 DPI. Using a mouse with a lower DPI may require you to increase the sensitivity. Conversely, using a mouse with a higher DPI may require you to lower the sensitivity.
• NOTE: 'Stance' is the direction in which you are guarding/blocking/attacking during combat when you are locked onto a target.

OPTIONS > CONTROLS > LOCK TOGGLE
• You can enable/disable Lock Toggle in Options > Controls > Lock Toggle (Keyboard)
• Lock Toggle changes the functionality of Lock Mode.
• (By default) When Lock Toggle is enabled (Default: Left Control), you can Cycle between the two closest Targets by pressing (by default) the Left Alt key.
• Rather than having to press to enter and leave Lock Mode you can disable Lock Toggle, this then requires you to PRESS and HOLD the Lock Mode key (CTRL, or Left Trigger on a Gamepad) to remain in Lock Mode.

OPTIONS > CONTROLS > KEY MAPPING
• You can change your bindings, even during a match, by going into Options > Controls > Key Mapping.
• You can Reset to Default your input bindings in case you get lost.
• If you own a mouse with additional buttons, we suggest you map some of the in-game actions to the other mouse buttons, for example: Guard Break, Executions and Emotes.
• Almost all in-game key mappings can be changed, excluding the following:
• Stance selection is locked to the mouse.
• Menu is locked to ESC.
• At the moment, we do not prevent binding conflicts, so it's possible to assign multiple conflicting actions to the same key. In some cases this is OK, but in other cases it will cause problems.

COMMAND LINE OPTIONS
Here are the few command line options available to the end user

• /disablesoundengine : Disable sound engine - a possible workaround if you have bad sound drivers that may be causing the game to crash.
• /disablewindowcomposition : Disable AERO window composition (The window won’t have transparent border anymore in Win 7) - If this causes your 2nd screen goes black, disable this feature.
• /noxinput : Disable XInput devices if their drivers cause problems. With this option specified, XInput devices will be interpreted as DirectInput devices.
• /nodinputpad : Disable Direct Input gamepad devices if their drivers cause problems.
• /fullScreen : Switch on/off fullscreen (Game will start in fullscreen/windowed independent from options setting) - NOTE: This can also be done in the options.ini file through the DisplayModeType setting
• /gfxadapter : Select the graphics adapter the game will use (0-16) - NOTE: This can also be done in the options.ini file - IMPORTANT: The game will crash when setting a number higher than the graphic adapters installed in the computer.

.INI Files
Two .ini files store information about the options and can be shared with other users. They can be found in the 'For Honor' folder located in your documents folder: [username]\Documents\For Honor

Options.ini

• There are settings that we expect to only affect a small percentage of our user base, such as choosing which GPU should render the game (in case you have more than 1), these are only available via editing the options.ini file.
• To reset your Option.ini file to the default settings, simply exit the game, delete the file, and then run the game again. This may resolve any possible issues you may cause by editing the file incorrectly.
• Alternatively, you can delete a specific section of the file (i.e. Keybindings] and it will be restored to the default settings when you next run the game.

Legacygamepads_user.ini

• If you do not own an Xbox360/1 or Playstation4 compatible controller, you can provide your own controller bindings using the Legacygamepads_user.ini file in your Documents folder.
• Please refer to legacygamepads.ini in your game installation folder for a manual on how to create your own profile.
